When you are traveling in a car through a blizzard you should carry some extra supplies on you. The things that you should probably carry are a first aid kit, bottled water, jumper cables, road flares, and snacks. If you have a choice try to stay indoors during a blizzard to avoid hypothermia. If you are outdoors and can not get indoors then build snow walls around you to reduce the wind and snow. You should also keep moving and try not to sit still to long to keep your blood flowing. Avoid traveling on foot or by car during a blizzard because there is a high chance of hypothermia, car accident, and you may get yourself stuck in the snow. Try to be prepared for when you get a snow storm warning because you can loose electricity, hot water, and heat. Stay stocked up on batteries, water, food, have working flashlights or candles, and you would want some extra blankets.
