What are Blizzards?

Blizzards are a severe snowstorms caused by strong winds that are around 35 mph. With these winds it picks up the snow from the ground and creates a ground blizzard with snow flying around low to the ground. These storms a very dangerous to people that are in the area of one. These storms can create life threatening situations.



The temperature of an average blizzard is 10 or below. When a blizzard is happening it disables people from seeing long distances. In blizzards the winds are blowing snow and it goes on for at least three hours.
